The weekend is just getting underway for our boys. They got in ok and started setting up for the weekend. Tomorrow morning we’ll be picking up bags for Scouting For Food. Even if you couldn’t make the campout, we could always use the extra hands in the morning.

About Us section launched

Today I started a new section on the website called About Us. It features 3 subsections and a Newsletter link. 2 of the 3 pages are live now: the History page and the Eagle Scouts page. If anyone has any corrections or additions, please let me know. The 3rd page will be the Scoutmaster’s Minute section, which is a bit large. I’ll be tackling a bit of that at a time.

The Newsletter link isn’t active yet, since I don’t have a recent one. (Hint, hint!)

Pictures section coming together

Inspired by the hope of getting some recent pictures (and since I managed to take a few snaps at Scouting For Food this morning), I started getting the Pictures section together.

First up is the Scoutmaster Award Recipients. We are proud to be featuring the recipients from 1997-2004. Unfortunately, we are missing photos of 2005 on forward. If anyone has them – or knows who does – please give me a shout.

Also, I kicked off our 2008 section with Pictures from the Scouting For Food Drop Off. I’m looking forward to expanding the 2008 album as well as moving over all of the older pictures. So now its up to you fine folks to start getting those pictures to me.
